A little-known tip great developers use to succeed in business (and life generally)

SME Property Developers, does this sound familiar? You find yourself struggling to scale up on the size or number of developments you can handle. Meantime, your peers get bigger and better, seemingly effortlessly. Working harder but getting nowhere, you find yourself wondering "What do they know that I don't?" and "What are they doing that I should be doing?"

A tube map of London is great if you want to get around London, but useless if you need to go to Paris. And a map of Europe is great to get from London to Paris. It's key to have the right MAP for your journey and to get the right map; you need to know where you are and where you want to get to, that's your VISION. Finally, you need to understand the LANDSCAPE you're navigating - following on from above; it's handy to know there's a bloody big bit of water between London and Paris, for example.

There's a lot to think about as a property developer, but your job is to coordinate everything, not to be an expert at everything.

It's ok to be good at spreadsheets but not at marketing; good at design but not spreadsheets; and it's ok to be good at construction but not with people. What your peers are probably doing that you are not, is recognising what they're great at and getting someone to help them at what they suck. It's ok to be you - nReal will fill the gaps.

nReal works with small-scale Property Developers & Investors, leveraging their time and resources to make the most of their opportunities. We make sure they’re clear on their vision, and they have a map to get there. By leveraging the client's existing resources and time, our goal is to see them make more of their opportunities and achieve better outcomes. Feel free to connect with me if you want to discuss this further.
